On a single processor 820, can I run os/400 & linux on the same box? Just with different partitions? Or Do I need a multi processor as/400, or a particular OS/400 release 5.1 or the new 5.2? What I would like to do is this... OS/400 as my primary environment, with linux as a secondary, using Java and the toolbox to communicate back and forth and then use the open source tools in the linux environment to manipulate the data for distribution...
