RE: Disk Failure

Dare:
No problem.  Just have the drive replaced, the restart Raid, the system
will automatically rebuild the drive.  We have replaced drives before
while the machine is up.  There is a procedure to power off the drive,
replace it, the bus powers the new one up, and then recognizes it and
asks if you wish to rebuilt it.  No downtime, no worries, no problems.
The iSeries is the best!

Hi guys,

I came in this morning and found out one of my disk failed, I already
called our CE.  Any idea what to look for, steps of action, possible
problems, data recovery, or anything of help. Below is my WRKDSKSTS,
unit #4 is the failed disk.
