Dare,

We had a 510 at V4R4 and lost a total of two or three drives over the course
of time.  All were replaced by the CE with no down time and no loss of data.
No one outside the IT department even knew that there was a problem until
after when they heard us talking about it !  That 510 is now in the basement
of one of our subsidiary offices as a D/R machine. We power it up once in a
while and it still works like a champ.
