Oliver,

We have the same problem with remote printers. Remote writers on our LAN
are fine but we also support a French site who we print to via the printer's
IP address. This one is extremely slow and often locks.

I'd also be very interested in any replies. Our ping response times are
okay.

Thanks,

Jenny M.

Subject: TCP/IP problems with congested line

Hello,

we are currently having problems with our WAN line. The connection to our
remote sites is very slow - ping times
above 500ms and worse.

Especially our remote printer sessions are crashing all the time.

Are there any TCP/IP parameters I could play with to improve fault tolerance
or whatever? The remote 5250-sessions
don't seem to have problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Oliver
