Thread-topic: Eltron LP2742 label printer

I'm trying to print lables to an Eltron LP2742 label printer.  This particular 
printer runs under Eltros's page-mode language, EPL2.  I have created an output 
queue with Host Print Transform set to *yes and the manufacturer type and model 
set to *IBM42011, in an effort to find a configuration that will not create any 
additional escape codes on the way to the printer. (we've also tried *NONE, and 
several others)  The problem is that we are still getting a lot of extraneous 
"stuff" sent to the printer ahead of the EPL2 code.  Has anyone had experience 
with this printer?  Does anyone have any suggestions?
