Dan,
I am married, have no children, two dogs, paying on a home, car,
and truck. I am not eligible for a pell grant. But I will probably get a
student loan..

Justin,

You're getting a *lot* of PRO-degree responses, and good responses, too,
IMO.

Tied to the last idea I gave you, in the "I can always get a degree
later"
school of thought: You've already said you're 21. You may or may not
be
married, or have children. If you're not married, you may even be still
living with your parents. What are your expenses now? What will your
expenses be 10, 15, 20 years down the road? If you're single,
childless,
and have "cheap" rent, you haven't likely experienced "expensive" yet in
your life, and a college degree may look like a bargain someday. <g>

Plus, college costs traditionally rise faster than the rate of
inflation.

I trust you've explored scholarships, financial aid, rich uncles, etc.
It
is said that a lot of educational financial assistance goes unused in
this
country, largely out of ignorance that it is there to begin with.
Someone
else may know of good sources of information if you request it.
