We are trying to restore spool files saved from a different system using BRMS. The original spool files were saved using BRMS. The originating system is at V4R5M0 and the target system is at V5R1M0. The steps that I have tried are to add the media to our BRMS inventory using the ADDMEDBRM command. Then extract the media information from the tape using the EXTMEDIBRM command. This gives me the two File Label IDs. However, it does not specify that any objects exist within either file sequence. What do I need to do in order to restore the spool files from the tape? Can it even be done?
