10 AS/400's dropping you at the same time, two times in one day, my money would be on something besides the AS/400's. This was happening to me over two years ago and IBM was really pretty good about it. They did a comm trace and where going to do some other stuff (for free) but I switched out a hub and that fixed the problem. Maybe it depends on who you talk to at IBM.
