I had always thought it was part of the toolset with SEU, etc. I know it was on the S/34/36, not that that means anything on the 400. What I did as my previous quick test was to DSPLIBL and verify I had no product library. Then ran STRDFU and did another DSPLIBL, and QPDA shows up as a product library. (Interestingly, DSPCMD STRDFU shows product library *NONE.) Then I did a WRKOBJPDM QPDA and without looking too close, spotted an entry with DFU in the text. It turns out only a couple of objects have this though, and most are QSYS. Why would STRDFU make QPDA a product library? Doug
