I've never heard of charging more than list. A public announcement is a public announcement. I would suggest verifying your assumptions and then contacting IBM. Or perhaps seek a quote from another source. IBM has always built margin into there list prices. I would assume that it is not much on a heavily discounted box, but it should be there.
