We use the same TCP/IP client and the file transfers work fine. Just select
an excel file type on the transfer. And be sure to convert CCSID 65535 or
your alpha fields will come in as hex. If you have Excel 97 and Client
Access Express, there should be a 'Get AS/400 Data' option under the
Data-->Get External Data menu option. It went away when I upgraded to
Office 2000. If there is anyone out there who can help me get it back, I
would be very appreciative.
