Paul,

Try EDTF.  It will edit stream and database files.  I'm not sure what
release included it, but it is on a V4R5 system.  If you are on a release
that does not include EDTF, it used to be included in the SAP Tools library
which was downloadable from the AS/400 Technology Solutions Center.  I'm not
sure if the download is still available.
