Zak, There is no cheap way you can legally operate your machine at V5R1. The 510 is a rather expensive machine for software. It was a powerful machine back when it was produced and is in the P30 software pricing tier. If you wish to get legal, the most economical method would be to restore the V4 backup you did before you upgraded. The PID program could be an avenue, but their general offering is a discounted lease of a new machine. Don't even consider getting software subscription, after you pay the currency access fee (penalty) and buy the subscription, you will have paid tens of thousands of dollars. I would suggest looking into the PID program or living with V4. The first would involve getting a new machine at a discounted rate, the second would allow you to keep the 510, which I'm sure lowers your heating costs in the winter.
