Your DNS is pointing to an external IP address. Your router is sending your request out to the internet. Your firewall is most likely NATing your internal IP to an external IP. How many IP address do you have? Set your external router to route your external IP address back inside and not send them out. Best bet is to have an internal DNS server, easy to configure on your AS400 and built in so its free, as well as an external DNS server. All your internal devices should be in your internal DNS server and NO external IP addresses. Set up forwarders to you ISP for external IP on your internal DNS server. Your external DNS server should only have the URLs you want to publish to the public and their external or public IP address. The external DNS server should not have any forwarders or internal IP address. This is a BIG security issue. Let me know, on list, if you need help or clarification. Christopher K. It acts as the DHCP. Here is my problem.from inside of the firewall we cannot type www.reliatek.com <http://www.reliatek.com/> and see the web page on our 400. But I can type the IP address of the 400 and pull up the page. From the outside you can type www.reliatek.com <http://www.reliatek.com/> and view are page. Is there something configured incorrectly in my 400 or is it my router not allowing this to work?
