Is it just me, or was there a little freeware program floating around
somewhere that generated the DDS for a physical file?  I'm sure TAA tools
has such a thing, as do Linoma and a couple of oher vendors, but I thought
there was a free tool.

If not, maybe I ought to write one.  Haven't done any freeware in a while.

In any event, it's moot now because the file wasn't that big, but it would
have been nice.
