A GUI Windows app would require a user be involved though. You can
completely automate the process if the NT Server is setup as a FTP server by
pushing the file from the iSeries to the NT box in batch. We do this on a
nightly basis with a number of save files as part of our nightly backup
process.

One phrase: FTP

To make it easier, you might want to find a GUI FTP client that runs on
windows , you can find free ones still. These are very user friendly and
intuitive.

While I've taken files from various sources to an AS/400, I haven't yet sent
one out other than by CA File Transfer. Can anyone point me in the right
direction - I need to send a save file from an RISC i-series V4R5M0 to an NT
server directory.
