Depending on the model and your software subscription status
you may not want to since any new release brings with it extra
memory and DASD requirements. I don't believe there is a direct
4.3 to 5.1 upgrade either. At the very least you need to review
the IBM docs attached to each release level and ensure that
pre-req ptfs are applied to do the upgrades.
