Rob, Perhaps we're talking about different things. I interpret 'IBM-supplied directories' to refer to those directories (and their contents) which IBM supplies as part of a licensed program, such as Domino. Some of the directories in your list are part of the base file systems and would not meet that criterion, even though they are supplied by IBM. Someone interested in saving their system for disaster recovery should save everything. If you want to save a particular application like domino, then save: - the libraries. (e.g. QNOTES, QUSRNOTES, etc.) - the user data. (/lotus/domino/servername/) - the IBM-supplied directories. (/QIBM/ProdData/Lotus/Notes and /QIBM/UserData/Lotus/Notes) That was the context of my reply anyway and that was how I interpreted Jorge's question. It could well be that I am wrong and that IBM places similar information directly in the root. I was under the impression that IBM was trying to stick to this standard. Thanks for questioning my accuracy. In this case, I suppose the true question is what did Jorge mean when he asked the question?
