Subject: RE: WTF? I can't access the IFS?
I am just trying to get on via Windows Network. I get a sign-on and I type
my password and I get a message saying "Invalid user or password." As far
as
I know it is just me having the problem.
My name is not in the iSeries Navigator.
We did just upgrade over the weekend to V5R1.

What message are you getting on your application?
Are you getting a message in QSYSOPR?
If you open iSeries Navigator
-expand your system
-expand Network
-expand Servers
-open TCP/IP (not to be confused with opening TCP/IP configuration under
network)
-Right click on NetServer
does your name appear?

Where is the password stored for accessing the IFS (I am on V5R1)? I am
using my password that I use to log on the green-screen and it doesn't
work.
Thanks for the help,
Mike Wills
