The parms are actually ENABLE and DISABLE. It works! jch -----Original Message----- From: bdietz@3x.com [mailto:bdietz@3x.com] Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 11:07 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: FTP and HTTP Header Removal Not sure if this fits the bill or not but.... From V4R5 PTF SF66235 Use the WRKHTTPCFG command to add the following original server directive to your configuration file: SendServerVersion OFF Directive format: ---------------- SendServerVersion Syntax: ON|OFF Default: ON (product-version sent) The server response header and pre-defined error messages will contain the same server type and version information as before the fix when SendServerVersion is set to ON or not coded in your configuration. This directive is not available via the GUI. Setting this directive to OFF tells the server not to include a response header for "Server" in responses sent by the server to a browser. Pre-defined error messages generated by the original server will also not contain information on the server type when SendServerVersion is configured as OFF. ------------------------- Bryan Dietz 3X Corporation 614-410-9205 _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
