I can think of a number of options here.
1. Hold the output queue before you start the writer. (HLDOUTQ)
2. Change the Form Type parameter to one that won't be in that queue.  This
would ensure that they would have to respond to a formtype message before
printing could start.
3. Change the name of the outq in the start up to one that won't cause a
problem.
