And even if you _do_ send a notification, there is no guaranteeing that it
will ever reach the sender.  Some ISPs (mine for example) seem to think that
notifications are merely an attempt to use the serer as a relay - and they
do not permit relaying.  Yet one more thing that we can thank hackers and
spammers for I suspect!

Anyone who ever e-mailed me with a confirmation request attached now know
why they never received it!
