Well, it needs to be in production soon, with "soon" defined as "the next couple of days", not "the next 45 minutes". We've got a project that's waiting on V5R1, but it's been waiting for a month now. I got the "automatic installation not complete" message, then the sign on panel. I've signed on as QSECOFR, and done nothing else (yet). My guess is that I should: 1) PWRDWNSYS *IMMED RESTART(*NO) 2) Replace the CD drive while the system's off. 3) Start the system, and allow INZSYS to complete. 4) Install any licensed programs from CDs 4 and 5 that aren't completely installed (*COMPATIBLE status). 5) Install the CUMPTF package. 6) Re-IPL. This should, I'm guessing, get me to the fully installed state. Is there anything else I should do?
