We're considering using the CVTNAMSMTP command so that we can keep (and
maintain) our users' email addresses in the system directory. Right now we
don't use the AS/400 for email, but we do use Domino and we want to be
able to keep names and email addresses synchronized.

Does anyone else have experience with this? Are there any downsides (since
it's "irreversible", you always want to ask! ;-)? As we understand it,
once we run that command the fields will be available in the system
directory and we can just take it from there. . . .

Thanks for any feedback,
