Pam Please pardon the blatant commercial. We have a tool (I wrote most of it) that could warn you of this situation sooner than the "serious storage" message does - a realtime monitor of disk space. If the runaways are frequent, it might be helpful. It's called disk/HUNTER, you can see info at <www.centerfieldtechnology.com>. It sends messages with IDs, so things like Robot/CONSOLE and MessengerPlus could monitor for the condition and give you good notice. It's not too expensive, I think.
