I just tried one tonight-- I have a file on the AS/400. I used MicroSoft Excell and downloaded it to a spreadsheet (small file). I then used Word's MailMerge wizard, and told it to use the spreadsheet for mail merge. I had it put together to print in about 15 minutes. Rob's reply mentioned using Word to talk directly to the AS/400. I'll have to give that one a try! I also used Word to mail merge the letter via email-- just have the email addresses as a field in the file, and away it went. No need to create a 'resolved' version either! Sad to say, I'm almost (but not quite) ready to migrate the file to the PC as well. *sigh* --Paul E Musselman PaulMmn@ix.netcom.nospam.com
