The command does not have a prod library specified.
Running lib/cmd it does not find program XYZ.

Changed my libl, no problems running it.

I'll have our programmer look at this when she gets in. I'm sure she'll have
a solution.

Dale - If the command is written according to good practices, that is, it
has a "product" library specified on the command definition, execute it by
specifying LIBNAME/COMMAND by qualifying the library where the command
exists.  If it does NOT have a product library specified, you may have to
add the library to your library list before the command will work properly.

How do I call a command (*CMD) in a library not in my *libl ?

It's the easy stuff that always trips me up, well ok, also trips me up.


Just finished installing DBG400 ( Thank you Martin )and want to call a
command in the DBG400 library while this library is not in my LIBL.
