The command does not have a prod library specified. Running lib/cmd it does not find program XYZ. Changed my libl, no problems running it. I'll have our programmer look at this when she gets in. I'm sure she'll have a solution. Thank you all. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Landess [mailto:steve_landess@hotmail.com] Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 6:50 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Calling command Dale - If the command is written according to good practices, that is, it has a "product" library specified on the command definition, execute it by specifying LIBNAME/COMMAND by qualifying the library where the command exists. If it does NOT have a product library specified, you may have to add the library to your library list before the command will work properly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Draper, Dale" <dale.draper@seu.sega.com> To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 8:25 AM Subject: Calling command How do I call a command (*CMD) in a library not in my *libl ?
