Rick,

SAVSYS saves the same stuff as those commands (SAVCFG and SAVSECDTA); it
doesn't execute the commands as such.  SAVSYS also does a lot more,
including formatting a bootable tape, saving QSYS and others.  This is
true currently as well as at V4R3.
