<In Indy, the Center and the hotels are supposedly "really close", and some <other cities are being renegotiated I can vouch for this. There are two major hotels with enclosed walking tunnels that are within 150 feet of the convention center. The Westin and Marriot are extremely close, the Hyatt and the Crowne Plaza are relatively close. As I have mentioned before I'm biased being a local of sorts but I think most people will be pleased with the accommodations. My family regularly stays at a downtown hotel (with kids) and we enjoy it. The convention center, the majority of motels, a whole bunch of restaurants, and a major shopping center are all located very close to one another. http://www.indy.org/images/downtownmap.gif Feel free to ask me any questions off-line if you'd like.
