I had thought I had read either in this forum or in IBM announcements that the ability to save spooled files to tape would be provided with V5R1 or V5R2. I know about the features in TAA and BRMS, and we have Broderick's Spool Organizer. I could swear that I had read about native OS/400 functionality. I've scanned the Midrange-L archives and the Infocenter and found a few things such as API's and the ability to delete jobs while leaving the output behind that might have led me to this confusion. Did I dream this, or is there really forthcoming OS/400 spool save functionality? Much thanks... -Jim James P.
