In general you should not mess with these, I do not know what is in all of
them but QBKBOOKS would contain books and QSECOFR is related to security.

Not being a wise crack answer, there is a book called the AS400 Owners
Manual by Mike Dawson that has a good introduction to the AS/400. Otherwise
the Info Center http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r1/ic2924/index.htm
has a wealth of information, you will need to pick your os version.

Subject: IBM supplied folders

I have the following folders on our iSeries.
I suspect that they are IBM supplied because
thier names start with Q. What are they, may
I delete them, and what resources can I use
in the future to answer questions like this by
myself?

QBKBOOKS
QDIADOCS
QFOEPRF
QFOFWP2
QFOFWP3
QFOSDIA
QFPNTWE
QGA400RT
QIWSADM
QOTTMFLR
QPRFFLR
QSECOFR
QTKRFLR
QWPDOCS

Thanks
