Request Printer suggestions

Hello,

I have a customer that prints about 7000 to 8000 post cards (4.25" x
6") a month in batches of 2000 to 3000 each. Currently they use a dot
matrix printer and 8lpi 15cpi. They would like to now add a code 3 of
9 bar code and improve the speed.

Does anyone know of a laser printer that will duplex (so we can put
the bar code on the back, the front is very full) this size and card
weight? They would prefer something that the input will hold 2000
sheets of regular paper so it can hold at least 750 cards and with one
or two printers get about 40 cards a minute. They will be using TCP
and Host Print Transform to get the graphics and avoid the PSF/400
cost.

Unfortunately they have about a year's supply of stock that is
continuous feed. I looked at the Printronix L1524 because it takes
continuous but it obviously can't duplex. Therefore they may run the
blank stock through their burster to produce cut sheet supply until it
is gone.
