The AS/400 puts ready records into the file, the NT-server polls the file and updates the records when its finished sorting. Basically, the NT does a select * from vrosif where sistat ='41' and further updates on single records (by order number). During normal operations, there's only one qzda* job running for this odbc connection. Any other suggestions, Thanx, Oliver
