Platform/application: Linux/Jetty/DB2/JSP and Java - developed inhouse
Why: the impression that the AS/400 is too expensive, despite a decade of
debate to refute that impression
Decision driver: the developer who held the lease on the box has just gone
out of business. Instead of taking over the lease, we decided to dump it.
