Hello folks,

Can I use the FMTDTA command in place of CPYF FMTOPT(*MAP *DROP)? I need to
move the data in one file to an "upgraded" version of that file - with new
fields in it. I haven't been able to figure out how to get FMTDTA to put
blanks and zeroes in the new fields. Is this possible? (I know about "forced
control" fields, but that means performing a sort - and I'm trying to use
FMTDTA to do just a copy.)

Again, thanks!
