Karl, The SHARE(*YES) is not needed for CPYFRMQRYF. It is only needed if the open is to be shared by a HLL program or other function (like FMTDTA). The other stuff wasn't there due to laziness. I knew that this was a "prototype" and would always be run in its own job, so after this pgm ended the job would end too.
