I gather from your email that the console is not available. I would have
expected that the console would be unaffected by this if it was done in the
recommended way.

Presuming that you can't sign on, you could try making an FTP connection
and either rename the file in the MYQSYS library to something else, or
delete it.

You may have a problem in that the file will be locked as it is in use by
the screens and the interactive subsystems preventing you from doing this.
You could try ending the interactive subsystems - using FTP to enter the
commands remotely - and turning off your console.

If I remember rightly to enter the command remotely it will be something like:
quote rcmd endsbs qinter *immed

the "quote" is not a mistype :)

The only other option I can think of is to perform a manual IPL and take
the option to set major system options and either delete or rename the file
or temporarily remove MYQSYS from the system library list so that you can
fix your QDSIGNON issue.

Once you have the system up and running you should consider altering the
signon screen so it affects your users screens only. Leave your controlling
subsystem with the default display file.
