Lawson has once again affirmed their commitment to the iSeries platform. I
wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to get their iSeries releases
caught up with the NT and Unix releases, but I'm not expecting them to scrap
the iSeries product offering anymore.

>From both an HR setup and technical infrastructure standpoint you might find
Lawson to be overly complex for your needs. Lawson has pioneered new
territory in making an Oracle database run like something other than an
Oracle database. From what I hear of Lawson 7.x and 8.x on the iSeries
they're also pioneering new territory in making an iSeries product that
would bewilder any experienced AS/400 admin or developer. If you're
considering them make sure you find a similarly sized company as a reference
-- one that is only running the modules you would be running.
