the simple way is:

crtpf qtemp/flatfile reclen(some large number)
cpytoimpf  from/file qtemp/flatfile   (take the defaults)
cpytopcd

then copy the file from the folder to where ever you want to on the
net....

this is the simple way, there are others that take fewer steps...like
cpytoimpf right to a streamer....
