Exactly.  This last point is absolutely critical to the iSeries'
survival.  In order to be considered for most businesses
today an application has to have a GUI that runs on network
attached PC. If IBM would buy a GUI screen scraper like
Seagull or NewLook and integrate into a thin, tcp/ip only
5250 emulation and ship unlimited licenses bundled with
os/400 (and do away with the green screen penalty) it
would OWN the app server market.
