Depends on how the doc is stored.

I avoid QDLS, (or folders), like the plague, and stick to other
directories. If it is a simple text file try EDTF.

Subject: Opening PC docs thru AS/400

Hi all,

Just a quick question - Is there a way to open a PC doc without using
STRPCCMD and without having to map a PC drive to the AS/400? Like is there
an API or something?

Thanks and regards,
Vikas.
