If you are running XP, MS has a powertoy that does just that.  It is
called the Virtual Desktop Manager and is available here:

software that would create multiple desktops, accessible just like a

GUI where you could pop between screens/sessions (4 desktops instead of
one).  I have searched high and low for this piece of freeware and
