I knew PPTP (I used it to connect to Miscrosoft NT sever using VPN) VPN was in the Windows 95, 98 (never used the others), but I did not know they added L2TP but it looks like they did

As a side not if you make your AS400 accessible from the Internet do not think that VPN will make your AS400 any more secure. It just encrypts the data sent back and forth.

Windows 95, 98, CE and ME can be setup with or support VPN now.
