Sue -

Based on this am I to understand that the BP is underestimating the increase
in recommended main storage?

Our current system is a 210 CPW 620 w/ 2 GB of main storage.

The proposed 810 is 1020 CPW, an increase of 500%. So the recommended main
storage would be 10 GB? (2 GB x 500%)

Scott, the rough rule of thumb I advocate for upgrades is to
increase main storage by the same percentage you are increasing
your CPW. So, if CPW is up by 20%, you'd also up main storage by
20% and ROUND UP to the next valid configuration. But, you also
need to understand whether you've always followed this guideline
and how much extra you may have purchased the last time you
upgraded. And all the other performance caveats apply.
