Originally you said "actually stored in file as CMMDDYY".  That had me 
concerned.  So which format is it - CMMDDYY or YYMMDD?

Do you have a sample of what days were wrong?

Got the info in YYMMDD no century code.  Yes, years are 00 for 2000, 02 
for 2002 etc.  I also see some of the days did not calc correctly.   What 
do you suggest?

Gail,

Do any of those dates have a digit other than 1 in the first position, 
and, have a year less than 40?

If so, you may have a problem with Richard's solution.
