Good point. Probably won't fix my issue then either. :-( Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." The APAR mentions trying to access a spool file that doesn't exist. In my case it exists but the system can't differentiate it from the others for previous compiles. IBM recommended ptf SI07502 for V5R2. I'll give that a try. http://www-912.ibm.com/n_dir/nas4apar.NSF/c79815e083182fec862564c00079d117/c fab97aae1687bf286256c49003d90f0?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,SE07957 Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I checked the system value and it is set to *KEEP. Any other ideas? Detaching printer output from a job means that the job is removed from the system when the job ends. This reduces the use of system resources by allowing job structures to be recycled when the job ends. Because the job is removed from the system, the job interfaces can no longer be used to work with the printer output for the job.
