Do a CHGIPLA and press F4. There is a parameter to start TCP/IP at IPL time. You may also want to check your system startup program (system value=QSTRUPPGM), to see if TCP/IP is started there. I believe the CHGIPLA was added around V4R5, so it is possible if you system was in use before then that someone may have modified the startup program to do a STRTCP. cjg Carl J.
