I know neither and this response may glaringly show that, however... I do realize that Java Script and Java have nothing to do with each other. JS is just called that to jump on the Java Bandwagon. (Can you say Websphere? Can you say .NET?). However, if you are a Domino shop you may find some material benefit learning Java.
