A report that Microsoft is throwing away the .Net brand.

http://www.microsoft-watch.com/article2/0,4248,989331,00.asp

"After trying for three years to explain what ".Net" is, Microsoft seems to
be throwing in the towel."

Given the history of Microsoft reinventing its development tools every few
years, this shouldn't surprise me. But it did. Anyone know of similar
reports?
