Good point Ray. The savings comes from being able to write all the emulators with a single set of development tools, and targeted to a single hardware/software platform. Stretch the imagination and envision OS/400 as a Java application... Seems bizarre and impossible but technology is a wonderful thing. I've learnt that the improbable seems to happen with some regularity in this business. --buck
